Childbirth Classes
Weekend childbirth classes will be offered at Newton-Wellesley OB/GYN for our patients. Understanding the increasing demands on everyone's time we hope to make attending classes convenient and enjoyable. These classes will be small, personal, and geared to our patients. Topics covered will include late stages of pregnancy, relaxation, labor and delivery, breathing techniques, pain management, c/sections, and early postpartum. The classes will be held:

Classes will be taught by Mary Webster, R.N. Mary is the nurse manager at Newton-Wellesley OB/GYN. She has been working in women's health care for the past 20 years. Having worked labor and delivery for 20 years, Mary is aware of the realities of the whole birthing process. She is certified and has been teaching childbirth classes for many years, the last 10 here at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Working with the doctors at Newton-Wellesley OB/GYN, and already knowing our patients, Mary will be able to make the classes more personal, relaxed, and enjoyable for each couple.
